We understand that saying good bye to your beloved pet can be very emotional and confusing. We want you and your pet to be as comfortable as possible during this time.
We have a room set up at the clinic which we call our Comfort Room. It is set up to mimick the atmosphere of a living room so you and your pet can feel a little more “at home” instead of in a medical exam room, on a cold metal table.
We set up a bed for your pet to lie on and you can choose to stay with your pet throughout the entire time.
The doctor will explain the procedure to you before he starts and you are allowed to hold your pet during this time if you choose to.
Once the euthanasia is completed, you may stay in the comfort room as long as you want, until you are ready to leave.
If it is time for you to make this difficult decision, please call us and one of our staff will arrange for you and your pet to come in and we will reserve the room for you and your family.
